Job Description PHOENIX FLAVORS & FRAGRANCE INC JOB TITLE: PACKER REPORTS TO: OPERATIONS MANAGER FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT SUMMARY: The Production Packer is responsible for packaging finished products according to company specifications and quality standards. This role ensures that all products are packed efficiently, labeled correctly, and meet safety and quality guidelines before shipment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Operate packing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently., • Inspect products for quality and ensure they meet company standards before packaging., • Weigh, label, and package products according to specifications., • Follow all safety and hygiene regulations., • Maintains a safe, clean working environment., • Participates in quality improvement efforts, • Food Safety/Quality team member, • Keep accurate records of packed products and report discrepancies to supervisors., • Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed., • Adhere to company policies and production schedules to meet deadlines., • Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Skills: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred., • Previous experience in a production or packing environment is a plus., • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 lbs., • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills., • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets., • Good communication and teamwork skills, • Ability to work as part of a team., • Must wear steel-toe shoes/boots and protective eyewear.
