Job Description Nocturnist Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC or AGACNP-BC) Inglewood, California Join Centinela Hospital Medical Center, a member of the Prime Healthcare system, as a Nocturnist Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. This is an outstanding opportunity to provide advanced overnight ICU care while expanding your procedural skills and collaborating with a high-performing Pulmonary and Critical Care team. Position Highlights * Schedule: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) * Employment Type: Independent Contractor (non-benefited) * Shift Options: Minimum 4 shifts/month (part-time) or 14 shifts/month (full-time) • Practice Scope:, • Overnight ICU patient management and rounding Rapid response and code coverage • Perform emergent procedures including central lines and intubations (training provided) Support: 24/7 attending physician backup with full multidisciplinary team * Professional Growth: Transition-to-practice program with hands-on training and a one-year critical care curriculum Qualifications * Board Certified ACNP-BC or AGACNP-BC * Active California NP and DEA licenses (or ability to obtain prior to start) * Minimum 1 year of inpatient NP experience (ICU or hospitalist preferred) * Strong clinical judgment, procedural interest, and commitment to patient-centered care Compensation & Benefits * Competitive independent contractor compensation * Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance * Opportunities for additional shifts or moonlighting * Hands-on procedural training and mentorship * Collaborative, team-focused hospital environment About Centinela Hospital Medical Center Centinela Hospital Medical Center is a 369-bed acute care hospital serving Inglewood and the greater Los Angeles area for over 90 years.
