Job DescriptionThe University is undergoing rapid growth toward its strategic goal of becoming a comprehensive, midsize, residential, undergraduate-graduate, research-intensive, health professions and science University of excellence. We are experiencing unprecedented support and investment, including a recent $50 million allocation from the state of California and a $ 7.7 million award from Bloomberg Philanthropies. Dymally College of Nursing-Entry Level Masters Program -Part Time Adjunct, • Open-Rank Faculty, Family Nurse Practitioner Program -Part Time Adjunct, • Open-Rank Faculty, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program -Part Time Adjunct, • Open-Rank Faculty, Doctor of Nursing Program -Part Time Adjunct Essential Duties • Responsible for creating a dynamic, learner-centered environment that supports the diverse learning needs of the student population based on educational theory and evidence-based teaching practices., • Assume other duties that contribute to the program’s overall success., • Maintain teaching load as assigned. Required Qualifications, • Regionally accredited master’s degree in nursing required. Doctoral degree preferred., • Current, valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California, • Nurse Practitioners must hold National certification as a nurse practitioner., • BSN from a regionally accredited college/university (required)., • Current, clear, active California RN license (required)., • Meets BRN qualifications as Assistant Instructor (BSN + recent practice) or Clinical Teaching Assistant (recent practice) under Title 16 CCR §1425. (If assigned any didactic teaching, an MSN is required by BRN.), • For Public Health rotations: California PHN certificate (required for PHN‑designated assignments).
