Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Take a technical leadership role in building and scaling national-scale healthcare data exchange systems * Deliver extremely reliable, scalable, and observable software capable of supporting massive transaction volumes * Lead architecture and implementation of highly scalable, API-driven systems powering healthcare data exchange at scale * Provide practical, balanced technical guidance—considering both engineering best practices and business priorities * Guide design decisions on fault tolerance, throughput optimization, and system resilience * Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements to maintain quality while accelerating delivery * Collaborate with product and implementation teams to shape technical execution * Document technical designs, workflows, and release notes for cross-team and customer consumption * Participate in and lead design and code reviews * Mentor engineers through pairing, design discussions, and pull request feedback Qualifications: * 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on building large-scale, high-throughput distributed systems * Have a balanced, pragmatic approach—able to apply the right level of engineering rigor to meet business needs * Experience designing and scaling API-driven systems with extreme reliability and throughput requirements * Experience with event-driven, queue-backed, and asynchronous processing architectures * Skilled in observability practices including distributed tracing, metrics, and log aggregation * Strong background in Microsoft SQL Server and experience optimizing relational data access * Familiar with other database technologies (NoSQL, distributed databases) * Deep experience with the .NET ecosystem, with exposure to other technical stacks as a plus * Familiar with containerization, cloud-native architectures, and Kubernetes deployment patterns * Strong architectural skills with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance * Proven ability to lead architecture across multiple systems and teams * Experience writing and optimizing parallel and asynchronous code * Strong knowledge of IHE profiles, FHIR, and other healthcare data exchange standards is a significant plus * Front-end development experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks is a plus but not required * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field Benefits: ELLKAY offers a comprehensive and competitive benefit package that starts day one! Job DescriptionDescription: POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Provides direct supervision of a group of children in a seasonal day camp. The Camp Specialist shall design and deliver a program specialty in their designated area tailored to the skills and interests of each age group. He or she will work with other counselors to bring about quality programming in that specialty area. Activities should nurture creativity, cooperation, skill and self-esteem and support the potential of all youth in programs and facilitates peer-to-peer connections as part of the overall camp experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Plan, setup and deliver a variety of activities within specialty area that are age specific and that keep children’s interests high., 2. Instruct Counselors on how to teach activities within specialty. Encourage activity planning and leadership for Counselors assigned to the activity., 3. Lead specialty activities with assistance from Counselors and help keep Counselors focused on the activity., 4. Control all supply inventory used in specialty. Assist Camp Director with ordering supplies. Keep supply storage area neat and organized., 5. Assist the Camp Director in carrying out themes and special events, general camp activities., 6. Greet campers with a smile and treat them with enthusiasm., 7. Learn camper’s names. Respond to campers needs., 8. Encourage camper’s youth development progress. As a leader, set a good example for the children. Teach campers how to solve problems and maintain basic discipline and group control., 9. Ensure that all volunteers have a great experience to help our association increase volunteer participation., 10. Develop positive relationships with member families and learn why they come to our Y., 11. Help group maintain camp cleanliness., 12. Perform all responsibilities in an enthusiastic and committed manner., 13. Take the initiative to be actively participatory in all activities., 14. Act as needed when not leading a specialty program. Safety: 1. Must attend and complete all required trainings., 2. At all times, uphold camp safety standards. Maintain constant face counts. Will understand and practice risk management and disaster policies and procedures., 3. Help maintain group control and facilitate lunchtime activities., 4. Follow all YMCA, ACA, and NJ Licensing standards and procedures to ensure the safest and best quality camp and to help maintain ACA accreditation., 5. Secure and submit all accident reports, special plans, schedule changes, and evaluations to Camp Director when appropriate., 6. Report all immediate concerns to Camp Director or nearest supervisor., 7. Use two methods of discipline with campers to include redirection to appropriate activities and using positive reinforcement to commend good choices. Other Duties: 1.
