About the Role: As the Supervisor of Aviation Stores & Logistics, you are responsible for coordinating and supervising all station Tech Ops inventory activities on a daily basis. You will also oversee the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of materials in accordance with company procedures and cost objectives. In this role, you will support aircraft maintenance by providing parts, materials, and services for routine operations, as well as for after-hours and AOG events. A Day in the Life: Your day will be dynamic and detail-oriented, leading the team and ensuring materials and logistics run seamlessly to support operations: • Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of stores, the parts room, and logistics staff to keep workflows efficient., • Maintain Inventory Accuracy: Conduct cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure reliable inventory levels., • Coordinate Shipments: Manage inbound and outbound logistics to deliver timely and cost-effective solutions., • Drive Process Improvements: Identify and implement efficiencies to reduce waste and improve turnaround times., • Ensure Compliance: Uphold safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all inventory and logistics functions., • Oversee Equipment and Tools: Ensure proper use and maintenance of storage equipment, vehicles, and material-handling tools., • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with procurement, production, and maintenance to align materials with operational needs., • Lead and Develop Staff: Train, mentor, and evaluate team members while fostering accountability and continuous improvement., • No Two Days Are the Same: Work in a dynamic environment where your expertise ensures the reliability of every JSX flight., • Be Part of a Team That Values You: Join a tight-knit, supportive team of professionals who are passionate about aviation and committed to safety and excellence., • Make a Tangible Impact: Your attention to detail and technical expertise directly contribute to flight safety and an exceptional Customer experience. We’re looking for someone who is: • Proactive: You anticipate needs, take initiative, and solve problems after they arise., • Adaptable: You thrive in dynamic environments, adjusting quickly to changing priorities, weather, and operational needs., • Collaborative: You work well across departments, valuing communication and teamwork to achieve common goals., • Organized: You manage your time and priorities effectively, keeping projects on track and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks., • Detail-Oriented: You understand that precision matters – especially when it comes to aircraft performance., • High school diploma/GED, • 2+ years of inventory management experience., • Experience in supervisory and/or leadership role., • Experience implementing cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and logistics optimization, • Proficiency with inventory management software., • Ability to occasionally lift 75+ pounds, • Ability to perform intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, and prolonged periods of standing., • Aviation experience., • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)., • OSHA safety training certification, • A current and valid Driver’s license is required., • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills., • Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external partners., • Ability to analyze data and generate accurate reports., • Thorough understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control methods, and logistics processes Pay & Perks: Compensation is $55,000 - $65,000 /annually.
