BASIC FUNCTION: ESD’s Information Technology Trainer is responsible for delivering engaging, hands-on training for various software applications, Information Systems and hardware resources utilized within the organization. This includes Microsoft (MS) Operating Systems, MS O365, Omnissa Horizon VDI, MS Dynamics, MS SharePoint, Zoom, Google Workspace, Google Gemini, ChatGPT, Keeper, Monday.com, Smart Draw, as well as many other applications or equipment used within ESD. The IT trainer is responsible for creating, scheduling, and delivering group workshops, webinars, and one-on-one sessions, both virtually and in person, to support user engagement and skill development for ESD resources. WORK PERFORMED: • Design and deliver IT training programs for diverse audiences., • Develop and maintain up-to-date instructional materials (manuals, tutorials, FAQs)., • Set up training environments, including necessary equipment and software., • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users., • Collaborate with IT staff and subject matter experts to validate, refine, and enhance content., • Align training with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and industry trends., • Serve as liaison among end users, leadership, and IT teams., • Represent the voice of the user by collecting and communicating user feedback., • Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust approaches as needed., • Identify and assist in troubleshooting user-defined problems., • Ensure the work is completed within the guidelines set by IT policies., • Assist with ESD Disaster Recovery efforts, testing and documentation., • Perform other related duties and projects as directed by IT Management., • Position expected to work onsite and/or remote consistent with NYS and ESD guidelines and needs. Background in instructional design (via credentials or experience). Relevant experience required: 3-5 years’ experience. Ability to work with a diverse group of people at both a functional and technical level and communicate at a level appropriate to audience; experience working independently and as part of a team. Proven success delivering short-term, workplace-based IT training. Experience teaching adult learners with diverse technical skills. Knowledge Preferred: Excellent written and verbal communication, and expertise with Microsoft O365 applications. Certifications preferred. Job Description Position Summary: The Program Director for the Bachelor of Science, Nursing provides academic, administrative, and professional leadership for a CCNE-accredited undergraduate nursing program. The Program Director is responsible for program quality, curricular integrity, student learning and outcomes, accreditation compliance, and alignment with institutional mission and strategic priorities. The BS Nursing program is delivered through a 1+2+1 collaborative model in partnership with St. Peter’s School of Nursing, requiring close coordination across institutions to ensure curricular continuity, regulatory compliance, and student success. The Program Director exercises primary authority over nursing curriculum, assessment, clinical education, and program accreditation, consistent with the requirements of the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and the New York State Education Department (NYSED). The Program Director reports to the Chair of the Department of Allied Health Sciences for administrative coordination, faculty processes, and institutional alignment, and works closely with the Dean of the School of Health Sciences on accreditation-related matters, as appropriate.
