    Bach To Rock Music School in Wayne, NJ is seeking an experienced, energetic and confident early childhood music teacher to provide music classes for toddlers/parents, preschoolers, and kindergarteners. Early Childhood Teachers at Bach to Rock create a fun, educational, and safe environment for children to explore the world of music. The ability to teach instruments including voice, piano, and ukulele is a plus. Opportunities to teach private lessons in all instruments, teach community classes and attend marketing events are also available. Bach to Rock offers a vibrant program of private and group lessons, rock bands and ensembles, community gigs for our student bands, musical birthday parties, music camps, and other great ways for teachers to work with students. This position offers the opportunity to work a flexible part-time schedule in a fun environment with other like-minded musicians. Benefits An hourly rate of $18-23/hr is based on previous music teacher experience, education, expertise, and availability. Rehearsal space - our practice rooms/band rooms are available for your personal use during business hours. Recording studio usage - our professional-grade recording studio is available for your personal use during business hours. Position Responsibilities: Must have a passion for music and education and the ability to deliver fun, exciting music classes and lessons! Create an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphere Assist at school events; May also be asked to assist at off-site events Requirements: Experience working with youth and/or beginning musicians. Experience teaching ages 5 and under in any setting is preferred. Must have an understanding of the benefits of early music education to growth and development and the ability to communicate those concepts effectively to students of all ages and their parents. The instructor travels directly to students’ homes to provide high-quality music lessons (30, 45, or 60 minutes). Your role will be to connect with families in the community and help bring in new students. This is an independent, performance-based position ideal for someone looking for flexible supplemental income with strong earning potential. Responsibilities Engage with families and individuals in the local community Promote private, in-home music lessons Distribute promotional materials and identify outreach opportunities Build relationships with local organizations, schools, and community spaces Communicate clearly with prospective students and direct them to enrollment Coordinate with the instructor to ensure smooth onboarding of new students You will be provided with all necessary information about lesson structure, pricing, scheduling, and program details.
