Administers patient care in the Radiology Department for diagnostic and interventional procedures. Utilizes assessment techniques, teaching and evaluation to determine the effectiveness of care. Documents response to procedures when deemed necessary. Participates in Quality Improvement activities. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, including experience with advanced imaging modalities and interventional techniques, while demonstrating a commitment to patient-centered care Duties • Deliver comprehensive pre-procedure assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and patient education on interventional radiology procedures., • Assist physicians during complex interventional procedures such as catheterizations, biopsies, and vascular interventions by maintaining aseptic technique and ensuring equipment readiness., • Monitor patients closely during and after procedures, managing vital signs, sedation levels, and potential complications with prompt intervention., • Administer medications including contrast agents, sedation, and pain management therapies following strict protocols.
