Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently and remotely, while also being a team player. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. The Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as handling accounts payable/receivable, collections, as well as offering support to other accounting functions. Responsibilities Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks Online (QBO), BILL.com & Microsoft Office Verify and set up new vendors in accounting system. Verify the accuracy of payables and supporting documents, resolve any discrepancies, process vendor invoices. Maintain and monitor records of payables and make recommendations for prioritizing payments. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and customers.
