Full-Time and Part-Time availability Full-Time/Part-Time Dietary Aide/Housekeeper (Hybrid Position) We are seeking a qualified Dietary Aide/Housekeeper who is dependable and punctual to join ourteam at our niche independent living facility. This is a hybrid position where you will be responsible for both housekeeping and dietary duties. As a Dietary Aide, you will help prepare and serve food to the residents in our adult care facility. Additionally, you will assist in setting up the dining room, clearing tables, and ensuring a clean and sanitary environment. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartments in our facility. This position requires the ability to lift thirty pounds and a sense ofurgency and diligence. Weekend and holiday availability is mandatory, and flexibility will be required of this position. Dietary Aide Duties: 1. Set up tables and dining areas with mindfulness, cleanliness, and order. 2. Prepare and serve meals under the supervision of your supervisor and/or Cooks. 3. Deliver meals to residents during designated mealtimes, including residents' rooms if necessary. 4. Clear plates, glasses, silverware, and other tableware from the dining area. 5. Ensure tables are stocked with condiments and refill sugar caddies daily. 6. Discard leftover food waste and dispose of garbage properly. 7. Maintain cleanliness in the pantry, service area, and kitchen, ensuring neat, clean, tidy, and dry surfaces. 8. Clean food stations, wash dishes, cooking utensils, cookware, and silverware. 9. Monitor and restock pantry and kitchen inventories. 10. Help maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and appliances. 11. Perform other related duties as required.   Housekeeper Duties:   1. Perform daily cleaning of studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartments. 2. Sanitize bathrooms, including cleaning fixtures, floors, and surfaces. 3. Vacuum carpets and remove trash from apartments. 4. Lift and move objects weighing up to thirty pounds. 5. Demonstrate a sense of urgency and attention to detail in all cleaning tasks. 6. Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols. 7. Work with the team to ensure all apartments are cleaned in a timely manner.    8. Perform additional cleaning duties as needed. Qualifications and Requirements:   • Ability to lift thirty pounds. • Meticulous and able to work with a sense of urgency. • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays. • Excellent communication and people skills. • Previous experience in a dietary or housekeeping role is preferred. • Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices in food handling and housekeeping. • Basic understanding of dietary restrictions and special diets is a plus.
