Job description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to individuals in various settings, including outpatient facilities. The Psychologist will work with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities and autism, and will play a crucial role in addiction counseling and supervising clinical staff. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients. Provide individual and group therapy sessions focusing on clinical counseling techniques. Develop treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, incorporating evidence-based practices. Perform psychological testing to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients. Supervise interns or junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in their professional development. Offer addiction counseling services to clients struggling with substance use disorders. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in psychology. Qualifications Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure as a Psychologist or eligibility for licensure. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, is preferred. Proficient in conducting psychological testing and assessments. Strong background in outpatient therapy settings is desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently. Ø Responsible for completing a face-to-face initial/ongoing Comprehensive Assessment (CA) with consumers. Ø Interview consumers to obtain information concerning their medical history and other pertinent information. Ø Assess the counseling needs of the consumers. Ø Assess consumers using the ASI or other standardized clinical interview tool and diagnose consumers for substance use disorder using the DSM-5. Ø Determine the appropriate level of care according to ASAM Criteria Ø Obtain previous records that are relevant to the current treatment episode unless clinically contraindicated, and collaborate with the consumer to develop a written treatment plan that includes goals and measurable objectives, and is consumer-centered, and recovery-oriented. Ø Provide the substance abuse counseling services specified in the consumer treatment plan. Ø Review consumers throughout the treatment episode according to the ASAM Criteria, to determine the need for continued services, transfer, or discharge/transfer. Ø Review and, where necessary, revise the consumer’s treatment plan to address ongoing problems. Ø Develop a consumer discharge/transfer plan to ensure movement to the appropriate levels of care. Ø Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team for assigned consumers. Ø Provide active case consultation. Ø Document all counseling and education services, assessments, reassessments, referrals, and follow-ups in the consumer's clinical record, and provide appropriate signatures and dating of such entries, including those made in electronic records. Ø Retains the responsibility of meeting face-to-face with the Qualified Professional (QP) Care Managers Staff to review the CA and Treatment plan of the consumer for the development of an action plan to meet the consumer’s needs. Ø Progress notes due daily. Ø Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Hello, I am looking for a weekly housekeeper. I am gay and live with my partner and my thee kids live there half the time. I currently live in Riverdale, in The Bronx, and am moving the Hewlett, NY in Long Island in March. Both are easily accessed by public transportation. My previous housekeeper was with my family for a few years, and was coming weekly to clean my apartment, it is two bedrooms and two bathrooms. I am a psychologist, and I also have my housekeeper come to my office to clean once a month as well, my office is in midtown. It is three small offices and two small bathrooms. Thank you.
