California ProvisionsCalifornia Provisions is hiring seven English-speaking individuals, one in each continent, who can contribute to the creation and publication of a magazine covering various aspects of life on all seven continents. Ideally, these individuals have an aptitude for writing, photography, creativity, and autonomy. These positions require a bachelor's degree (or finishing up) and a curiosity to travel. While I'd like to be in every country with my teammates, I must be stationed here in New York to handle logistics and sales. So, what we need are people who can handle themselves physically and mentally in other countries. In addition, we are looking to hire seven English-speaking designers. You can work anywhere in the world as long as you have intern access to attend Zoom meetings. We would benefit from having at least a few here in New York so I can go over materials with you in person. The first issue of this publication will be a complete team effort. It's set to release January 1st with a goal of at least ten topics per continent - a photo and a page of text per topic. This doesn't seem difficult and it's not. However, I suspect, we will run into printing and shipping issues because it always happens that way. So, while my team of explorers are covering their continents, I will be working with our designers and printing company diligently to avoid final product mishaps. The responsibilities of the explorers are rather loose. To reiterate, I'm looking for people with enough autonomy, curiosity, insight, and an open mind to generate ideas, test them out, report back, and consider others' feedback. At the end of the day, I can't do this without my team so everyone's ideas and suggestions will be regarded equally. Because we will be reporting to each other so closely until January, I will be hiring based on personality most of all. This publication is looking to cover topics like cuisine, adventure, art, communities, nature, etc. so we're just looking for normal people! Until a deal of sizable measure and longevity is secured with a larger company, these positions will be unpaid. This portion is my responsibility to work at rigorously to establish our team and company. Once this is reached, each explorer and designer will be granted a full-time, secure position, a team of their own, and a handsome payout. Please do not hesitate to apply even if you don’t think you are qualified. I will be pretty lenient on qualifications and requirements as I just want a group of good people who might want to be in this for the long haul, and the ability to complete our first issue before January. If you are not in the continent for which you are applying yet, that is fine. As long as you are there by mid-November and plan to stay for a couple weeks, minimum. You do not need to be a native or live there full-time. If you’re interested, apply here and email us expressing your interest. If you'd like to submit designs, photos, or written pieces in your email, all are welcome but not necessary. Talk to everyone soon! Best, Boss

Content Writer For Disney-Inspired Site
Imagine A MousePlease note that this is a volunteer, remote position. However, as the site grows there will be opportunities for paid work. Are you a Disney lover? Do you know your Loungflys from your LEGO? Are you prone to buying plenty of merch from the Disney Parks? Do you love trying out all the food across the Parks? Have you been obsessed with tracking all the latest updates on the attractions? If that's you, we'd love to work with you. Imagine A Mouse is a brand new, and unofficial, Disney Substack magazine that covers the House of Mouse. It will primarily focus on the Parks to start with, acting as a guidebook for Disney enthusiasts. It will take a positive point of view and will always aim to shine the spotlight on the Imagineers and creators within the Disney Company that bring all these ideas to life. We're looking for a contributor who loves to write and likes the idea of contributing to a growing platform. You'll get credit for all your work, will be able to follow your own leads and put forward your ideas, and can really own any one of our sections, from merch and food to behind-the-scenes and attractions. You can contribute as much or as little as you want and there may be the opportunity to gain additional perks in the future. You'll be edited by an experienced member of the entertainment industry and this is a great place to continue to hone your craft. We're looking for someone who can write coverage of Disney merch, food, and attractions, breaking down the details and story behind any new releases. There may be an opportunity to conduct interviews. We're also looking for someone who loves to get ahead of a story and has the initiative to reach out, build contacts, and land exclusives for the page. We're looking at launching fully very soon and would love to talk more about your ideas and passions.
