Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in building custodial duties, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities • Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting., • Maintain floors through buffing and polishing to ensure they are clean and presentable., • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas regularly., • Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts efficiently., • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or maintenance., • Assist in minor maintenance tasks as needed, including light repairs and upkeep of equipment., • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment., • Previous janitorial or custodial experience from 1 to 4 years., • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus., • Experience in floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing is beneficial., • Knowledge of industrial cleaning standards is an advantage., • Background in facilities maintenance or porter experience is desirable., • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties, including lifting and moving equipment when necessary.
