Job Description Bridgeway Community Health is currently seeking a qualified Kitchen Aide Come join our growing team of culinary professionals who are all passionate about seeing lives changed and relationships restored! PRIMARY PURPOSE The Kitchen Aide will ensure that wares for the front and back of the kitchen and Food Truck are clean and sanitized. This position is also expected to provide housekeeping support as needed to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the assigned spaces/work areas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Washes all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers., • Places and stores correctly clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas., • Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils., • Cleans trash receptacles with water or steam., • Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks., • Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation., • Cleans assigned areas by washing furnishings, walls, floors, and equipment with special cleaning solutions. and disinfectants to prevent the spread of disease., • Mop, sweep, dust, and vacuum floors and work areas as appropriate that need attention., • Removes trash and/or recycles, restocks paper supplies and liners, etc as needed., • May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed., • Attends staff meetings and collaborates with other team members., • Performs other duties as assigned., • Requires valid Oregon Food Handler card or will to obtain card prior to starting work., • Restaurant experience preferred., • Must have a valid Oregon Driver's License, maintain a good driving record and must be insurable., • Paid Holidays, • Medical, Vision and Dental Coverage, • 5% employer match 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan (Pre & Post-Tax Options), • Corporate Fitness Membership subsidy, • Employer-Sponsored Life, Accidental Death, Critical Illness, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage, • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) Plan, • Flexible Spending Accounts Our mission of helping people in our community who struggle with the symptoms of addiction to drugs, alcohol, problem gambling, and/or psychiatric illness only happens when we create an agency culture of community, mutual respect, encouragement, and desire to see each employee grow and excel.
