This is a new position created as Eastpark grows with the delivery of new units at this brand-new multifamily community. We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with a passion for property maintenance and a commitment to excellence. Eastpark Apartment Homes – Salem, OR Visit Eastpark! Eastpark Apartment Homes in Salem offers stylish studio to three-bedroom apartments designed for comfort and modern living. Community amenities include a sparkling pool, relaxing spa, resident clubhouse, business center, fitness center, and high-speed internet. Residents also enjoy in-unit washers and dryers, EV charging stations, garage options, a basketball court, and beautifully maintained grounds—all crafted to support a connected, easygoing lifestyle. Position: Maintenance Technician I Location: Eastpark Apartment Homes, 114 Greencrest Street, Salem, OR 97301 Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (60-minute unpaid lunch break) Pay Range: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour Classification: Non-exempt position, eligible for overtime pay Bonuses: Eligible for Lease-Up Incentive Bonus Plan Cell Phone Stipend: $50/month About Us At Stratum, we are a future-focused property management company dedicated to fostering an environment where employees and communities can thrive. Key Responsibilities • Perform basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall, • Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including leasing office, clubhouse, restrooms, and laundry rooms, • Conduct daily property walks to ensure cleanliness and safety, • Assist with pool maintenance, including filter, pump, and water testing, • Safely operate tools and equipment such as drills, blowers, paint sprayers, and golf carts, • Support unit turnovers, ensuring apartments are prepared for new residents, • Document all work performed using property management software (Yardi experience preferred), • Be available for after-hours emergency coverage on a rotating schedule, • Travel to other properties as needed for business support, • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, • One (1) year in a Porter position or equivalent maintenance experience preferred, • Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and janitorial tasks, • Pool maintenance experience preferred, • Strong communication and teamwork skills Compensation and Benefits • Competitive pay range: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour, • Eligible for Lease-Up Incentive Bonus Plan, • $50 monthly cell phone stipend, • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • Life and AD&D Insurance, • Voluntary employee-paid insurance options, • 401(k) with 100% match on employee contributions, up to 4% of annual salary, • Paid holidays, including your birthday, • Paid vacation and paid sick time, • Employee Assistance Program available on your first day of employment (for you and your immediate family) Additional Information • Background Check: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check following a conditional offer., • E-Verify: Stratum is an E-Verify employer and will verify work eligibility for all new hires., • EEO Employer: Stratum is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
