Job Description Gensco has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Supervisor at our branch in Salem, OR! Summary • Responsible for supervising the day-to-day warehousing, delivery, and customer service functions of a Branch Warehouse, • Responsible for Team building, implementing continuous education processes for all Branch Team Members, establishing objective and measurable goals, and clearly communicating these goals and standards to Branch Team, • Maintain a positive, helpful attitude toward fellow Team Members and Customers, • Suggest and implement improvements in warehouse cost management, best practices, and operational process design and implementation, • Operate a delivery truck to deliver and unload product at customer facilities, jobsites or Gensco facilities, making multiple deliveries in one daySkills and Qualifications, • High school diploma or GED required, • Must be 21 years or older, • AA degree preferred or equivalent work experience preferred, • 2+ years related experience with Gensco or equivalent preferred, • Prior direct customer service experience – desire to work directly with customers, • Excellent knowledge of the products Gensco sells, • Understanding of inside sales, outside sales, warehouse, and delivery functions, • Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately, • Strong decision-making abilities - understand impact and implications of decisions, • Strong negotiation skills, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Strong presentation skills, • Strong people management and time management skills, • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, • Demonstrated ability to organize people and resources to get the job done, • Able to operate computer terminal, personal computer, and office machines, • Able to communicate with the public in person and on the phone, • Able to work sitting or standing and move freely throughout the facility(s), • Able to lift and carry equipment, supplies, and inventory on a frequent basis, • Healthcare coverage of medical, dental and vision available first of the month following date of hire, • Discretionary Profit Sharing, • 401(k) Retirement Plan, • Annual Holidays: 6 Paid Holidays and 2 Paid Floating Holidays, • Paid Vacation (Full Time Team Member Accrual: First 12 Months – 40 hours, Year 1-5 - 80 hours), • Tuition reimbursement for 2-year and 4-year degree programs, • Life Insurance, Voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance, • Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Short-Term Disability Powered by JazzHR mMPfZt6c3D
