Job Description JOB TITLE: Regional Manager, Sr. Regional Manager REPORTS TO: Operations Director Job Type Full Time Employee DEPARTMENT: Operations Team LOCATION: CA,NJ,GA SUMMARY The Regional Manager (or Sr. Regional Manager) is the executive leader responsible for managing an entire Operations (OPs) team (e.g., East or West region) within the TOUS les JOURS brand. This role is directly accountable for the overall operational efficiency and revenue performance of all assigned franchised and corporate stores within the region. The primary mission is to ensure that the OPs team effectively executes the brand's strategies, driving high sales growth and maintaining operational excellence across the entire store portfolio. This role involves comprehensive team leadership, strategic consultation, financial oversight, and direct accountability for regional business results. JOB DUTIES 1. Team Leadership and Performance Management • Supervision of FBC/Sr. FBC Roles: Directly manage and supervise the Franchise Business Consultants (FBCs) and Senior Franchise Business Consultants (Sr. FBCs) within the assigned region, ensuring the comprehensive and effective execution of all their defined job duties (NSO support, sales analysis, compliance, risk management, etc.)., • Goal Setting and Accountability: Set clear, measurable performance goals and KPIs for the entire regional OPs team, primarily focused on regional sales growth, operational compliance, and successful new store stabilization., • Personnel Management: Oversee the hiring, training, development, scheduling, and performance reviews of all FBC and Sr. FBC staff, fostering a high-performance, consultation-focused team culture., • Coaching and Mentorship: Provide high-level guidance, coaching, and direction to Sr. FBCs regarding team coordination, conflict resolution, and the mentorship of entry-level Ops Associates. 2. Regional Strategy and Financial Oversight • Business Plan Development: Develop and implement the annual and quarterly regional operational and sales strategies in alignment with corporate objectives, focusing on maximizing revenue and profitability across all stores., • Regional Sales Analysis: Conduct comprehensive, high-level analysis of regional POS data, identifying macro trends, competitive threats, and significant sales gaps across the territory., • P&L and Budget Management: Oversee the operational and financial performance of all corporate-owned stores within the region, including direct responsibility for their Profit & Loss (P&L) statements., • Strategic Consultation: Utilize regional data to provide strategic, high-impact consultation and direction to the team for improving the financial performance of underperforming franchises. 3. Operational Excellence and Risk Mitigation • Standard Enforcement: Ensure rigorous and consistent enforcement of all corporate policies, brand standards (BI/SI), and QSC audit requirements across all franchised and corporate stores in the region., • Policy Coordination and Influence: Act as the senior point of contact for policy discussions, communicating the team's feasibility and strategic feedback to corporate headquarters during the policy development phase., • High-Level Risk Management: Directly manage and resolve high-stakes issues, major franchisee conflicts, and critical risk matters escalated by FBCs or Sr. FBCs, often involving collaboration with Legal, Accounting, and Executive management., • Policy Implementation Oversight: Ensure the smooth and timely rollout and adoption of all new corporate initiatives, products, and operational standards across the entire region. 4. Cross-Functional and Executive Liaison • Executive Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular, comprehensive reports and presentations to senior management and executives on regional performance, operational challenges, and strategic progress., • Internal Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key liaison between the regional OPs team and all corporate departments (Marketing, SCM, Store Development, Finance) to ensure coordinated support for the franchisees., • Franchisee Relations: Cultivate and maintain positive, long-term relationships with key, high-volume, or multi-unit franchisees within the region, acting as the ultimate escalation point for relationship management. 5. New Store Development and Oversight • Franchisee Candidate Assessment: Collaborate with the Development team to interview franchisee candidates, assessing their background, qualifications, and capabilities to ensure they are the right fit for operating the TOUS les JOURS brand. Provide final input for the decision to execute the Franchise Agreement., • Site-Specific Operational Strategy: Once a site is secured by the FA-signed franchisee, review the proposed location's business area and surrounding trade zone. Determine and finalize the necessary operational strategies for that specific market in collaboration with the FC and NSO Coordinator., • NSO Process Final Decision: Provide final strategic guidance and approval on critical pre-opening matters handled by the OPs team, including Floor Plan review (in conjunction with the Interior Design team), menu assortment, and supply logistics., • Pre-Opening Supervision and Direction: Oversee the entire pre-opening process, ensuring all phases are on track. Provide necessary guidance, direction, and issue resolution strategies to the FBC and Ops Associate to address any complications that arise before the opening day., • Post-Opening Follow-Up and Strategy: Monitor the FBC's post-opening follow-up process to ensure the new store achieves stable operations quickly. Provide additional strategic direction or operational advice as needed to maximize initial revenue and long-term success., • NSO Process Management: Maintain overall management and supervisory accountability for the complete execution of the NSO job duties (as defined for the FBC/ Ops Associate roles) within the region, ensuring timely and seamless store launches. QUALIFICATIONS • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required., • Experience: Minimum of 7-10years of progressive experience in operations, with 5+ years in multi-unit, regional management within the franchise or food service industry required. Proven ability to manage, mentor, and lead a team of consultants, • Skills: Exceptional financial acumen, including P&L oversight and budgeting. Strategic planning, executive communication, and high-level conflict resolution skills., • Other: Extensive domestic travel within the assigned region is required. Up to75% travel., • Lanugage: Professional-level English proficiency (speaking, reading, writting), Korean (speaking, reading, writting) skill a plus.
