Job Summary Genesis House is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to support daily operations and event activities. This full-time role involves a variety of hands-on tasks including moving and organizing materials, cleaning, groundskeeping, minor repairs, and assisting with event setups and teardowns. Responsibilities may also include assembling furniture and shelving, responding to maintenance requests, and supporting senior staff to maintain safety and cleanliness throughout the facility. The position blends physical, behind-the-scenes work with guest-facing service to ensure smooth daily operations. Ideal candidates are proactive, adaptable, and willing to assist wherever needed. Every day presents new challenges, requiring flexibility and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Flexibility is key, as the role includes evening and weekend shifts to support events and venue needs. Occasional opening and closing responsibilities are required. The position reports directly to the Jackson Dawson Senior Executive Producer and works closely with the General Manager, Events Producer, Operations Producer, and the Genesis House management team. • Employment Type: Full-Time, • Hourly Rate: $35 – $40/hr., • Assist with daily setup, teardown, and cleanup of equipment, furniture, and materials., • Maintain and organize event spaces, back-of-house areas, and storage rooms., • Transport, load, and unload supplies and assets as needed., • Perform light maintenance, spot cleaning, and facility upkeep throughout the day., • Coordinate with management to prepare materials for scheduled events and activities., • Interact with guests and clients professionally and courteously., • Collaborate with team members to complete physical, logistical, and customer-facing tasks., • Follow all safety and operational guidelines to ensure smooth, secure operations., • Adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment., • Respond promptly and effectively to urgent situations., • Perform minor tasks such as painting, basic plumbing, light carpentry, landscaping, and tool operation under supervision., • High school diploma or GED required., • At least 1 year of experience in facilities, maintenance, or hospitality preferred., • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following direction., • Strong teamwork and communication skills., • Customer-focused and safety-conscious approach., • Comfortable using basic tools and technology., • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record., • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, kneel, and move for long periods inside and outside the facility., • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely., • Calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations., • Availability for occasional after-hours emergencies., • Adherence to facility dress code., • Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
