Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding, preferably in a healthcare setting. Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and billing processes. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with insurance billing guidelines, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
