NYCP is a poverty-fighting organization that reduces hunger and promotes dignity, health, and self-sufficiency by using a holistic approach to reach over 122,000 distinct people -- over 729,000 visitors each year. Last year, we served over 11 million meals. Through an array of programs that we offer, we look to establish long-term stability for those we serve. The Full-Time Food Rescue Driver coordinates and conducts pick-ups of donated food and other items for NYCP's food pantry and hot meal programs. The Full-Time Food Rescue Driver also provides transportation for special events, participates in food drives, and provides program support for the pantry and meal programs to distribute food to individuals and families in need. The Full-Time Food Rescue Driver will report to the Food Sourcing Manager at the 1285 Oak Point Ave, Bronx, NY 10474 location.
