Description Facilities Maintenance Technician handles maintenance and repairs on the Lot that require skills as an electrician, carpenter, plumber, mechanic, painter, and HVAC technician in order to help maintain a safe and serviceable facility. Must have experience in commercial buildings. Essential Functions • Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanic, painting, and HVAC tasks, • Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment, • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs on equipment, • Perform facility upkeep duties such as touch up and finish painting, washing walls, ceilings, doors and sills, replacing light bulbs, • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service, • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment, • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision, • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas, • Preform miscellaneous duties as needed While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
