Job Description We’re seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to relocate to Atlanta, GA, to lead our hotel’s Sales & Conference Services department. This is more than just a sales role – we’re looking for a proven relationship builder, a confident leader, and a strategic thinker who thrives in driving revenue, developing teams, and positioning our property as a market leader. In this high-impact role, you will oversee all revenue streams and market segments, develop and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies, and directly influence the success of this property! Hotel Director of Sales & Marketing Perks & Benefits • Base salary up to $145K based on experience, • Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, • 401K with guaranteed 4% match, • Short- & Long-Term Disability + Life Insurance, • Paid Time Off and Holidays, • Minimum 5 years leading a hotel sales department, with extensive full-service Marriott background (non-negotiable), • Demonstrated success in driving group sales, selling properties with 250+ keys and 20,000+ sq. ft. of meeting/events space, • Strong people leader with experience managing and motivating teams of 8+; able to train, mentor, and develop top-performing talent, • Expertise in revenue management, pricing strategies, and positioning to consistently achieve or exceed budget, • Deep knowledge of the Atlanta market preferred, with active involvement in local business and hotel sales organizations, • Proficiency with systems, analytics, and digital marketing, including social media strategy, • Lead, inspire, and develop a team of 8 in Sales & Conference Services, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability, • Own revenue responsibility for designated market segments, with a focus on driving group sales growth, • Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans, ensuring alignment with market trends and competitive positioning, • Execute successful social media and advertising campaigns to strengthen the hotel’s visibility and brand, • Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients, local community leaders, and industry organizations, • Deliver exceptional experiences for guests and clients while consistently exceeding revenue goals., • Report directly to the General Manager as a key member of the property’s executive team.
