The Opportunity Our client is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to help advance enterprise AI initiatives focused on intelligent automation, decision support, and next-generation AI applications. This role will focus heavily on Agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and NLP, with an emphasis on building scalable, production-grade solutions that improve internal workflows, customer experience, underwriting operations, and risk-related processes. You’ll work cross-functionally with data science, engineering, product, and business teams to design and deploy AI systems that deliver measurable business value in a highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities • Design and deploy advanced Agentic AI and LLM-powered applications for enterprise use cases, • Build AI systems that automate workflows, improve operational efficiency, and enhance decision-making, • Lead projects through the full AI/ML lifecycle, including data preparation, model development, fine-tuning, validation, deployment, and monitoring, • Develop NLP pipelines, autonomous agents, and multi-step reasoning systems integrated into business platforms, • Apply generative AI and LLM technologies to interpret and process unstructured datasets such as customer interactions, operational documents, and domain-specific records, • Collaborate with data engineering, MLOps, AIOps, and product teams to build scalable and maintainable AI solutions, • Help establish AI development standards, governance practices, testing frameworks, and operational best practices, • Present technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, • Stay current with emerging trends in Agentic AI, LLMs, reinforcement learning, and enterprise AI technologies, • Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical leadership initiatives What We're Looking For • PhD with 2+ years OR Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, • 3+ years of hands-on experience building AI/ML solutions with a strong focus on Agentic AI, LLMs, and NLP, • Strong experience developing and deploying production-grade AI applications, • Expertise with generative AI, agent frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-step reasoning architectures, • Strong Python programming skills, • Experience with frameworks and tooling such as Pytorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain and LangGraph, • Familiarity with classical machine learning methods including regression, clustering, XGBoost, Random Forests, and decision trees, • Experience with distributed computing, data processing, and scalable ML systems, • Understanding of software engineering best practices including Git/GitHub, testing, logging, and CI/CD, • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, • Experience within insurance, financial services, underwriting, or regulated industries is highly preferred What’s on Offer Our client is committed to supporting the overall well-being of its employees through a comprehensive benefits program designed around mental wellness, physical health, financial security, and long-term career growth.
