POSITION TITLE Senior Alternatives Assets Analyst POSITION LOCATION Stamford, CT YOUR ROLE The Senior Analyst is an integral part of the Alternative Assets Team which is responsible for running a highly visible segment of the broader Genworth Investment Portfolio. You will be covering a subset of Fund and Co-investments across Private Equity, Infrastructure, Commercial Real Estate, Opportunistic Debt and Venture Capital. You are responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities as well as monitoring existing portfolio positions. You will be expected to be familiar with portfolio cash flow modeling while also actively participating in the Alternatives’ Asset Allocation Decisions. You will leverage our advisor, general partners and research relationships to communicate trends affecting Private Equity & Debt Markets. What you will be doing • Act as Lead Analyst on a Subset of Funds & Co-investments Across Private Equity, Infrastructure, Commercial Real Estate, Opportunistic Debt and Venture Capital, • Provide timely fund investment recommendations based on fundamental underwriting and due diligence which includes manager meetings, track record analysis and sector perspective, • Maintain Surveillance of portfolio through quarterly review of statements, attendance of annual meetings and periodic reviews of performance relative to targets, • Review and analyze transaction documents and assess strengths, risks and value of deal covenants and structure, • Establish and maintain detailed scenario analysis around co-investments during underwriting & surveillance, • Interact with Wall Street analysts and other independent sources to obtain external views on individual names or industries, • Foster relationships with our advisors, general partners, and “street” counterparties, • Provide regular updates to senior management around Quarterly Performance, Market Events and Portfolio Developments, • Collaborate with our accounting, legal and reporting teams to help improve on best practices in supporting the alternative asset program, • Teach and mentor investments associates What you bring • Bachelor’s degree in a business major or related area of study, • 5-7+ years credit or equity research experience, • Experience and demonstrated ability in analyzing corporate financial statements, • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the with ability to synthesize research and analyses into actionable recommendations, • Solid decision-making skills regarding core equity/credit responsibilities, requiring only limited guidance and oversight, • Technically proficient with systems and strong capability with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) suite of applications, • Strong financial modelling skills Nice to have • MBA or equivalent degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience, • Working Knowledge of Alternative Investment Strategies (Private Equity, Infrastructure, Venture), • Previous Corporate Credit or Equity Research Experience, • Understanding of fixed income mathematics, • CFA or candidacy Employee Benefits & Well-Being Genworth employees make a difference in people’s lives every day. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. The incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 60% of your base compensation. The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications to ensure pay equity within the organization.

Duration: Full Time, ExemptLocation: Hybrid (Stamford, CT/Remote) Prefer on-site once a week.Preferred States: CT, NJ, NY, NC, RH, FLReports to: Sr. Manager, Government Pricing Job Summary:Responsible for calculating/reviewing, analyzing, documenting, maintaining, and reporting price calculation submissions for federal and state government pricing programs for the following agencies: The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense Tricare (DOD), and Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA). Primary Responsibilities: • Work with Sr. Manager to ensure that all pricing submissions are accurately calculated, analyzed, and validated to ensure that the required government pricing variables for monthly, quarterly, and annual pricing submissions are appropriately reported to various federal and state government agencies., • Perform detailed monthly and/or quarterly analysis of pricing and calculation components to determine root cause of variances., • Ensure all government pricing data is properly archived and maintained in order to comply with all Federal guidelines and audit requirements., • Support administration of subsidiary government pricing computations through review of deduction, return, and sales data., • Assist in the adjudication and payment of Department of Defense Tricare rebates and the development of accruals., • Ensure all government pricing documentation is available and accurate., • Support testing of new software due to government pricing systems upgrades and/or changes inpricing methodology., • Support updating and maintaining SOPs where appropriate., • Support other team members in government pricing work review. Education and Experience Requirements, • Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry; math, accounting, and analysis functions preferred., • Minimum 2 years of experience working in the areas of government pricing, rebate adjudication, contract management process/systems, and document control, etc., • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, math, or related analytical field; Master’s degree (MBA) desirable, not required.Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities, • Proficient in Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word; knowledge of SAP and Revitas/Model N/ Government Pricing / Contract Sphere or other pharmaceutical contract/rebate/membership systems a plus; must possess technical skills sufficient to learn new systems, understand system functionality well, and test systems when required., • Good understanding of Medicaid Drug Rebate Program and Department of Veterans Affairs pricing calculations and reporting processes; understanding of the involvement of statutory/regulatory and compliance in the government calculation process; proven understanding of current health care environment, regulations, and health care reform laws., • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at one time; ability to adjust to changing needs within the organization and flexibility to change priorities as needed; must be able to work under strict deadlines., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with external and internal customers; interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work well with others, manage work with counterpart(s) and drive towards consensus., • Strong mathematical, analytical, and critical reasoning skills; ability to analyze data and trends, to develop and/or work with flexible pricing models to rapidly facilitate complex management decision-making, address the pricing of potential risk areas, and to strategically model and present “what if” scenarios to support the proposal process; attention to detail with the capability to appropriately define issues, questions data; ability to comprehend qualitative and quantitative methods to perform accurate analysis; ability to creatively think about different problems and devise pragmatic solutions to develop data into actionable information.
