Job Description We are seeking a Director of Operations to lead the growth of a multi-unit fast casual / QSR platform. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial operator who wants to build and scale a restaurant platform from the ground up, with plans to grow from a single location to 15+ shops across Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens counties. The Director of Operations will initially operate the first location as a hands-on General Manager, participate in a corporate training program, and develop systems and leadership teams for future expansion. This is a builder role for a self-motivated operator with experience in multi-unit management, store openings, and team development. Key Responsibilities • Launch and manage the first restaurant location, ensuring operational excellence and guest satisfaction., • Develop and implement operational systems, processes, and culture across future locations., • Recruit, train, and develop General Managers to lead individual stores., • Oversee multi-unit operations, including labor management, food quality, inventory, and P&L accountability., • Act as a player-coach, providing hands-on leadership while building a scalable operating platform., • Partner with ownership to plan and execute growth strategy, including new store openings., • Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, driving results through operational discipline and accountability., • Foster a strong team culture emphasizing high performance, engagement, and consistent guest experience. Qualifications • Multi-unit management experience (4–10+ locations) in fast casual or QSR environments., • Experience opening new stores or leading store launches., • Proven ability to recruit, train, and develop General Managers., • Strong labor management, operational discipline, and P&L oversight., • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build systems and culture from the ground up., • Comfortable operating independently with high accountability., • Excellent people management and leadership skills.
