Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a results-driven District Manager to oversee multiple quick-service restaurant locations in the Chicago market. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on Wendy’s experience, a deep understanding of QSR operations, and a proven ability to drive performance, consistency, and team development across multiple units. This role is responsible for operational excellence, financial performance, brand standards, and leadership development while ensuring an outstanding guest experience at every location. Key Responsibilities Operations & Performance • Oversee day-to-day operations for multiple QSR locations, ensuring compliance with brand standards, policies, and procedures., • Drive sales growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across the district., • Analyze P&L statements, labor reports, and KPIs; implement action plans to improve performance., • Ensure consistent execution of Wendy’s operational systems, food safety standards, and guest service expectations., • Recruit, train, coach, and develop General Managers and management teams., • Build a strong bench of talent and support succession planning., • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement., • Champion a guest-first mindset and ensure high standards of cleanliness, speed of service, and food quality., • Address escalated guest concerns promptly and professionally., • Manage district budgets, labor controls, and food cost targets., • Partner with leadership to develop forecasts and operational strategies., • Ensure adherence to company policies, HR practices, and regulatory compliance., • Maintain strong communication with support departments including HR, Training, and Marketing. Qualifications • Minimum 5+ years of QSR management experience, including multi-unit leadership., • Previous Wendy’s experience is required (General Manager or District Manager level preferred)., • Proven success managing multiple high-volume restaurant locations., • Strong financial acumen with experience analyzing P&Ls and operational metrics., • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills., • Ability to travel regularly within the district., • Proficient with QSR POS systems, scheduling tools, and performance reporting platforms.
