American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Melrose, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CT Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 03/30/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs, • Hours: 36 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Mar 30, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Acute care hospital setting with a Level II Trauma designation, • CT (Computed Tomography) unit, • 12-hour night shifts, Monday through Wednesday, 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM, • Rotating weekends required, • EMR: MEDITECH; experience preferred, • Equipment includes GE VCT and GE Evo/Evolution CT scanners, Med-Rad pressure injector, PACS, and PowerscribeRequirements, • Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience; 3–5 years preferred, • ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications required, • Graduate of an AMA-approved educational program in Radiological Technology required, • MA state license required if applicable, • Proficiency with CT scanners, PACS, pressure injectors, and image manipulation (windowing, contrast, reformats) requiredAdditional Information, • Perform CT exams following hospital protocols, including proper scanner warm-up, QA checks, and pressure injector preparation, • Adjust and manipulate images to required specifications including windowing, contrast, algorithm selection, separated exams by accession, and creation of reformatted images, • Communicate 'wet reading' findings to physicians, the Emergency Department, and nursing units as needed, • Complete administrative duties including tech edits, patient escort, room preparation, and supply stocking With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
