Job DescriptionDescription: Under the direct supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, provides direct clinical podiatric care to patients at the health center. The Podiatrist is a member of the Care Team with the purpose of providing evidence-based and quality foot and ankle care to Zufall Health Center patients. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities • Provides comprehensive podiatric care for patients of the Zufall Health Center, including but not limited to diagnostic and therapeutic assessments; evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of foot, ankle and lower extremity conditions; wound care; minor office-based procedures within scope of practice; referral and follow-up of patients; and other duties as assigned. Ensures continuity of care of patients., • Performs evaluations on patients with diabetes to prevent, detect, and manage conditions that affect the foot and ankle such as neuropathies, arthropathies, and vasculopathies.
