EFFC recognizes that all children in care have experienced some level of trauma, that their needs may change over time, and that their strengths must be supported so they can reach their full potential. POSITION SUMMARY: A Caseworker works with children and youth who reside in a foster home. The foster parents can either be relatives or individuals who are not related to the children. Caseworkers work as a team with Socio-Therapists to provide supports to the children, the foster parents, and the birth families to ensure that every child is making progress towards permanency. The Socio-Therapist provides additional supports to the foster parents and family and works in conjunction with a caseworker to help ensure that every child is making progress towards permanency. The Clinical Support team works with CPS Teams and/or directly with impacted families to ensure optimal service delivery. The team assists with family engagement approaches, with assessing/screening for the most pressing needs, and with identifying and facilitating connections to relevant resources. POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for general oversight and administration of all aspects of programming and will report to the Vice President. The qualified candidate will provide leadership, direction and support to the program’s supervisory staff and their respective clinical teams. The Program Director must possess previous experience in providing services to IPV families and families with substance use disorder histories. The Program Director is responsible for ensuring all the requirements of the program regulations are met, that staff are recruited, trained and properly supervised. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • The Director of Clinical Services position requires an LMSW with 5-10 years of clinical supervisory experience or an LCSW or Licensed Psychologist with 5 years of clinical supervisory experience., • Strong leadership, administrative and supervisory skills with the ability to monitor and implement high volumes of workflows, as well as leading an interdisciplinary team of 21 professionals., • Familiarity with navigating electronic platforms such as Connections for documentation reviews., • Strong working knowledge of mental health, substance use and IPV. Range of services includes in-home visitation, crisis intervention, case management, advocacy, individual, group and family counseling, psycho-education and support, and referral to other appropriate services. The SWF program will serve a total of 65 families residing in Brooklyn. POSITION SUMMARY: The Therapeutic Case Manager is responsible for screenings and assessment, engagement, safety planning and coordination of services and treatment for members of the family system experiencing IPV. Approach to service is family-centered, trauma-informed, strengths-based and emphasizes both short-term and long-term goals to restore and maintain Safety for all family members, Protect children from future exposure to IPV, and promote Healing and Improved Family Relationships.
