Remote or hybrid work is not available for this position. Candidates must be able to work on-site five days per week during designated work hours. Position Overview This role supports the Retirement Services sales team by providing technical expertise and training support. The Sales Support Specialist assists with questions regarding capabilities for plan designs, investment availability, and operational procedures. Primary Responsibilities The below represents the primary duties of the position, others may be assigned as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Serve as the primary contact for the sales team, providing subject matter expertise on plan designs, investment ability, and operational procedures., • Support sales representatives with plan features and design capability questions., • Respond to technical questions during the sales cycle., • Coordinate with implementation, compliance, and record keeping vendor to validate feasibility of proposed plans., • Develop and maintain documentation and materials for sales training and education, ensuring all content is accurate, compliant, and up to date., • Maintain records of sales support activities and client feedback, providing themes to leadership., • Bachelor’s degree required, • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retirement plan sales support or operations., • Strong knowledge of plan design, compliance and investment structures. QKA designation preferred., • Experience in client-facing roles, supporting sales teams., • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset, • Ability to develop training materials and documents for different audiences, • Proficiency in computer skills, including Salesforce, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite, • Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
