Our systems can be found in many nationally recognized, award-winning buildings throughout the country. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving record, and the ability to safely transport architectural glass to various locations. Job Responsibilities - Safely operate a box truck to deliver orders to designated locations, following all traffic laws and safety regulations. - Load and unload glass materials carefully, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation. - Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled deadlines and optimize delivery times. - Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation. - Maintain accurate delivery records and reports. Delivery area consists of New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Lower New York State, New York City and surrounding areas. Exceptions may occur. Qualifications - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL-Class A) with a clean driving record - 3-5 years of driving experience – experience with a box truck preferred. - Proven experience as a box truck driver or similar role, preferably in the transportation of fragile materials. - Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices. - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading glass materials. - Strong communication skills and customer service orientation. - Attention to detail and a commitment to safety. - Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
