Job Description JSG is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a client in Albany, NY. This is an on-site, direct hire position, and I&C experience is a must-have. The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, test, and optimize the manufacturing and installation of instrumentation and controls, components, or systems for commercial use. The electrical engineer in this role will interface daily with the engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver innovative solutions to meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual with a strong background in control system design (hardware/software/network), electrical panel design and power calculations, risk assessment, component selection and configuration, control system programming, and control system installation and commissioning. Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Job Description Job Summary Desktop Technician will provide day to day local\remote desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software and application issues in a ticketing system. The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) manages the efficient flow of electricity on more than 11,000 circuit-miles of high-voltage transmission lines, dispatching power from hundreds of generating units across the state. The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) works to make the power grid smarter by developing and deploying innovative information technology solutions to meet New York's dynamic energy needs. The NYISO's Operations department invites applications for a full-time Power Systems Application Engineer. The Power Systems Application Engineer will update and maintain the electric power system model used by the Energy Management System (EMS), Business Management System (BMS), Outage Scheduling System (OUS), Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) and the Transmission Congestion Contract (TCC) applications. Provide support in maintaining all SCADA/EMS advanced applications such as State Estimator (SE) and Security Analysis (SA).
