Job Description These are the fundamental components of the job: • Support all technical services at Lawley for over 650+ end users including infrastructure, business applications, devices, email, and the zoom-based telephone system, • Design and deploy company LANs, WANs, wireless networks, servers, virtualization platforms, storage, routers, firewalls, switches, UPSs, and other related hardware, • Translate complex requirements into functional architecture, which are a combination of storage, compute, and network resources, with the goal of creating high performance, fault tolerant, and robust systems to accomplish business goals, • Responsible for the security of systems, network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) and servers (Windows/Linux) including applying patches, upgrades, and periodic maintenance as required, • Respond to and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) and server hardware/software failures., • Troubleshoot firewall rules, VPN connectivity, and remote access problems., • Lead network and server upgrade projects (hardware refresh, OS migrations)., • Design and implement new network segments, VLANs, and security zones., • Deploy and configure virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V)., • Review and research new technologies, applications, software, and hardware platforms and stay abreast of modern system design principles to facilitate leading edge system implementation, • Integrate servers, including database, email, print, and backup servers and their associated software into the enterprise systems and manage them daily, • 5+ years of experience in network administration (with strong server management background), software systems, and core infrastructure design and implementation, MSP experience preferred, • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering, • Proven experience in supporting, maintaining, and monitoring of key infrastructure components and services, • Experience with core software applications, such as Microsoft Office, zoom phone, and QlikView, • Ability to work well independently and on a team, • Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills, • Ability to learn quickly, expand tasks to create meaning, and develop knowledge through experience, • Positive attitude, even in a fast-paced environment, • A passion to make customers and coworkers feel important and valued, • Capability to work quickly and efficiently, • Dependability and ability to exercise confidentiality, • We are not a call center environment, • We achieve success by building genuine relationships together, with our teams and clients, • We are a family owned insurance broker (70+ years!), • We are deeply committed to the communities we serve and love to get involved, • Competitive salary and referral bonuses!, • Expansive Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision—and SO many more), • 3 weeks of PTO (prorated based on start date) AND a generous holiday schedule – available 1st day!, • Company 401K contribution received starting Day 1 (for participants 21+ years old), • Educational support, career development, and growth opportunities, • Job Security (we’ve never had a lay-off, even during the pandemic), • Flexibility, including hybrid schedules! It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for a position as circumstances and location can vary in every hiring situation. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,613.20 to $141,022.00.
