Job Description JunkCo+ of Jacksonville is a family-owned junk removal, light demolition, and cleanout company built on one belief: how you leave the job site says everything about who you are. We’re looking for our first full-time team member — someone who wants to do more than show up, load a truck, and clock out. This role is part operator, part brand ambassador, and part business builder. You’ll lead jobs from start to finish, deliver an experience customers talk about, and help us grow by getting JunkCo+ in front of the commercial partners who need us. WHAT YOU’LL DO On the Job Site • Drive and operate the junk removal truck safely and professionally (no CDL required), • Lead junk removal, cleanout, and light demolition jobs from arrival to completion, • Provide on-site estimates to residential and commercial customers, • Load, sort, and dispose of items — including responsible recycling and donation when possible, • Leave every job site cleaner than you found it — sweep it, check it, and make sure the customer is satisfied before you leave, • Use field management software to manage jobs, scheduling, and customer communication Building the Business • Represent JunkCo+ at local networking events, chamber meetings, and community functions, • Build and maintain relationships with commercial referral partners — apartment complexes, property managers, realtors, interior designers, elder care facilities, storage facilities, and construction companies, • Drop off flyers, business cards, and promotional materials at targeted businesses throughout Duval, St. Johns, and Clay counties, • Identify new commercial opportunities and communicate leads back to ownership, • Be the face of JunkCo+ in the field — every interaction is a chance to earn a referral WHAT YOU’LL EARN • Competitive Hourly Pay: $21.00 – $22.00 per hour based on experience, • Tips: Keep 100% of tips earned, • Commission: Earn commission on commercial jobs you bring in through your outreach and relationship-building efforts, • Total Compensation: Top performers will earn $26/hr+ when combining base pay, tips, and commission, • Weekly Pay: Get paid every week, no exceptions, • Growth Opportunity: As we add trucks and hire more people, this role has a clear path to Field Operations Manager — leading crews, managing routes, and helping run daily operations WHAT WE PROVIDE • Company truck and equipment for all jobs, • Free uniforms and branded gear, • Training on job execution, customer service, estimating, and field software, • A positive, respectful work environment where your input matters, • Direct access to ownership — no corporate layers, no red tape, • Real investment in your professional development and career growth WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Requirements • Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement), • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no CDL required), • Reliable personal transportation to and from work, • Ability to repeatedly lift 50–75 lbs throughout the workday, • Comfortable operating a large truck (box truck/dump trailer experience is a plus), • Must pass a background check and maintain a drug- and alcohol-free workplace standard, • Proficient with smartphones and willing to learn field management software Relevant Background No prior junk removal experience required. Weekend shift is required — that’s when residential demand peaks. Weekday shifts will blend job execution with business development activities such as networking, partner visits, and flyer drops.
