Job Description HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE A Cryogenic Liquid Delivery Driver at CK is responsible for the correct, timely, and safe delivery of gas products to customer locations. This individual is representing the company in a professional manner while interfacing with customers and equipment on delivery of products and supplies. This position is on a front facing role that requires customer interaction on a daily basis. CK SUPPLY CORE VALUES: Please read slowly these are non-negotiables and we are going to ask you about them in the interview! • Driven - Hardworking, Dedicated, Dependable, Desire to be the Best, • Passionate - Positive Attitude, Appearance, Pride, Love What We Do, • People-Oriented - Honest, Respectful, Trust-Worthy, Integrity • Deliver Bulk, Micro-Bulk and Cryogenic products to customers while abiding by load safety, DOT requirements, and general safe driving guidelines, • Exhibit a courteous and professional image at all times, • Complete daily trip reports and shipping papers required for deliveries, • Maintain proper cleanliness of assigned vehicles and properly conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections notifying the Fleet Manager of any areas that need attention, • Load and unload cylinders and supplies from the vehicle, • Conform to uniform and safety equipment policies, • Communicate with the customer and relay pertinent information back to the manager or team member as necessary, • Meet individual goals while also working together with a team to ensure the work is completed effectively and accurately, • Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors, • Adhere to the CK Core Values through behavior and words, • Other duties, as assigned, within the job classification and business QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS • High School diploma or equivalent required, • Minimum of 3 years prior over the road or local delivery experience, • Must possess a Class A CDL with a Tanker and Hazardous Material Endorsement and have an excellent driving record exhibited by a pre-employment required MVR report, • Must be able to pass all DOT requirements, • Be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people, • Capable of completing basic mathematical calculations and entering correct information on logs and other reports, • Vision correctable to within normal range for vehicle driving and completion of reports, • Ability to move or lift products and materials of varied sizes and weights, sometimes in excess of 75 pounds., • Position requires prolonged sitting some bending, stooping, lifting, and climbing, • Must be able to maintain 3 points of contact while getting into trucks, • Capable of working in diverse locations and often times unpleasant weather conditions, • Ability to drive in all types of weather conditions, • Must have the ability to operate all necessary equipment, • Must be able to work independently and with a team WHY YOU WILL LOVE WORKING HERE Headquartered in St. Louis, MO, CK Supply Inc. has been the definitive source for metalworking and gas related technologies for over 75 years.
