Job Title: Driver Reports To: CRS Dispatcher & Operations Team FLSA Status: Exempt (if salaried); non-exempt (if hourly) Department: Operations Summary: Completes assigned daily tasks for deliveries and pick-ups of furniture, technology, and contents and assists movers by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Operates company trucks in a professional, safe and courteous manner.* 2. Delivers equipment (dollies, crates, etc.) to clients’ origin location pre-move. 3. Drives truck to location and assists movers in packing and loading truck.* 4. Must protect all items loaded on truck to minimize damage with cloth pads, proper placement & strapping technique. 5. At destination, ensures delivery and placement of items that were moved in accordance with project scope. Reports to foreman or project manager if applicable.* 6. Ensures delivery trucks are clean and in good working condition.* 7. Performs daily maintenance checks and reports malfunctions to management.* 8. Ensures customer messages/communications are relayed to appropriate management.* 9. Assists the warehouse manager and movers to include lifting and carrying cartons and contents and placing them on appropriate shelves in warehouse.* 10. Responsible for getting appropriate paperwork (examples: BOLs, Pros) signed and returned to Dispatch/Operations upon return to warehouse* (unless Project Manager or Foreman on job, in which case they can be responsible for paperwork completion and return) 11. Provides customer with BOL receipt upon completion of job. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates and Licenses: Commercial Driver's License Preferred but not required to drive all trucks. WE ARE HIRING RESIDENTIAL The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides assistance to participants who need help with daily living skills, and other activities such as, activity development and training in social interaction. This position assists participants with bathing, feeding, toileting, laundry, and other self-care responsibilities. The DSP is responsible for safely accompanying participants to community resources, medical appointments, and other approved activities. The position is responsible for completing progress notes and making appropriate entries into the daily log book. They would also be responsible for scheduling and escorting the participants to medical appointments and acting as an advocate and liaison while on appointments. Administer medication, check MAR sheets and maintain participant medical records in compliance with OPWDD standards. Prepare case notes, read and make appropriate entries in facility logs daily. Review communication logs, Medication Administration Log and Medical Log at beginning of each shift. Participate as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team in the development, implementation and evaluation of the residents’ Plan of Care. Accompany participants to Cardio Club and participate in activities and carry out fire drills, evacuations and emergency procedures.
