Job Description Insurance Agent- Inside Sales Join our growing team before all sales positions are full! This position including a BASE salary PLUS COMMISSION! Your base salary is determined by your applicable experience, so the salary range listed on this job post does not necessarily mean the low end is the minimum base you can earn. This position is for an inside commercial P&C (property & casualty) insurance agent/producer and requires the applicant to be P&C licensed with no less than 3 years of experience successfully selling commercial insurance (with a big plus if you have sold pay-as-you-go Workers Comp). Applicant will be focused on generating warm leads from payroll service and accounting partners and closing new sales with our industry leading pay-as-you-go Workers Comp program- InsuranceTrak () by TrakPay (). BENEFITS! • Paid Time Off (PTO), • Health insurance, • Life insurance, • Dental insurance, • Vision insurance, • 401(k) match, • Disability insurance, • Parental leave, • AD&D insurance, • Property & Casualty Insurance License (Required)., • Demonstrate a track record of being a dedicated worker who shows up and puts in the time & effort to be successful., • Strong communication skills both verbally and written with typing speed of over 50 WPM but ideally closer to 60 WPM., • Experience in commercial insurance sales, with pay-as-you-go Workers Comp being a big plus., • Meet & exceed sales goals., • Take incoming leads by storm and work them early and often to increase chances of closing the sale., • Collect information from clients on their risk profiles in order to quote the appropriate carriers that will result in winning sales., • Ability to harmonize with prospects who have different personality types over the phone and email, and close sales at a rapid rate., • Build strong networking relationships with payroll and accounting partners to increase referrals., • Ethically underwrite a risk, quote the appropriate markets, gather the proper applications and procure signed paperwork to close sales., • Be self-motivated to succeed., • Have no fear when prospecting for new business and creating networking relationships., • Demonstrate the ability to properly underwrite new business and close new sales., • Utilize professional communication and interpersonal skills., • Maintain a property & casualty insurance license (required).
