Responsible for scheduling patients for invasive exams, maintenance of equipment. Works under general supervision, adhering closely to established procedures. The CT Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures, which will require independent judgment, initiative and an understanding of the anatomical position to obtain the correct diagnosis. Light to medium lifting is required. Access and utilize the hospital and radiology information systems including PACS. Schedule flexibility with the possibility of being on-call. Position Qualification: (Training, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities) • 1 Year CT experience Preferred (Hospital experience preferred)., • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision., • State of Florida License, • Must have CT Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), • BLS Certification Position Summary: MRI Technologist, Imaging Dept, Per Diem, Flex Shift, Rotating Weekends, Job ID 1526532 Performs all aspects of MRI procedures. Knowledge of MRI procedures and equipment. Technical skills include computer proficiency in obtaining diagnostic images and screening patient information. Performs technical procedures which will require independent judgment with ingenuity, initiative, and an understanding of the anatomical positions necessary to obtain a high-quality diagnostic study. Schedule flexibility with the possibility of being on-call. May require light to medium lifting. Access and utilize the hospital and radiology information systems including PACS. Position Qualification: • HS graduate or equivalent., • 1 Year MRI experience (Hospital experience preferred)., • Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology program., • Training in AMA approved school and meets requirements for registry by the ARRT., • Must be self-motivated and once job skills are learned, is able to work with minimal supervision., • ARRT MRI certification required., • Must have Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), • Florida License To Perform Adult Echocardiography Competently. Takes On-Call. Monitors supplies. Maintains equipment. Other duties as assigned. Assists with maintaining Infection Control standards. Transports patients. Risk Management. Position Qualification: • Good oral and written communication skills in the English language., • Visual and hearing senses must be adequate to detect changes in human physiological condition., • Able to function calmly in a fast paced, stressful environment., • Experience in echocardiographic examination of patients in any setting including acute care setting., • Performs duties and conducts interpersonal relationships in a manner designed to project a positive image of the department and the hospital., • Works with supervisor/manager and other members of section or department to promote a harmonious work environment., • Ensures that all contacts with patients, the public, physicians and other hospital personnel are carried out in a friendly, courteous, helpful and considerate manner. Responsible for patient safety protocols. Maintains all federal, state, local and regulatory agency requirements. Must be willing to learn PET procedures. Must be able to handle stress level associated with complex delivery of service with close interpersonal relations with the medical staff, public and other health care professionals. Credentials must be registered and licensed to practice. Skilled to perform exams on patients of all ages. Radiology Technologist, Radiology/Imaging Services, Per Diem, Flex Shift, Rotating Weekends, Job ID 1473387 POSITION SUMMARY: The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing all diagnostic radiographic procedures including OR and portable exams, at a high-quality level. Must have knowledge of all radiographic procedures, protocols and equipment used in obtaining radiographic images. Ability to work extended periods standing. Reports and communicates to Supervisor of Imaging. Medical decisions are directed from the Radiologists. Trained for and skilled to perform exams on patients of all ages. Able to assist patients on and off stretchers and wheelchairs. Access and utilize the hospital and radiology information systems including PACS. Position Qualification (training, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities): • Training in AMA approved school and meets requirements for registry by the ARRT., • Previous hospital experience preferred., • Must be self-motivated once job skills are learned and is able to work with minimal supervision., • Florida License (General), • A.R.R.T.(R) Certified, • ARDMS certification in OB-GYN Sonography preferred., • BLS Certification Must clear background and drug test required.
