Job Description Position Summary: We’re seeking an Endpoint Workspace Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of modern computing solutions across our enterprise. This subject matter expert will focus on endpoint management for Windows and macOS platforms, software packaging and deployment, Active Directory, Group Policy, MDM/MAM, and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). The role includes handling escalations, improving operational efficiency, and delivering security-focused solutions through research, testing, and continuous improvement. Recent initiatives have included deploying Intune-backed LAPS, phasing out Microsoft Silverlight, enhancing Adobe patching, managing printer infrastructure, and reducing legacy administrative privileges. Core Responsibilities: * Serve as a technical expert in corporate endpoint engineering, driving the design, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of desktop solutions. * Provide advanced operational support for both corporate offices and remote/store environments, resolving escalated issues and refining support processes. * Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that address business needs and security risks. * Apply security best practices to system design and implementation, ensuring compliance across all endpoint solutions. * Make strategic decisions related to access controls and system configuration. * Optimize infrastructure performance, including hardware, OS, and software configurations. * Integrate enterprise tools for monitoring, automation, and system management. * Troubleshoot complex technical issues and maintain thorough documentation of processes and solutions. * Ensure all systems remain current with approved software, firmware, and configuration baselines. * Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver system enhancements aligned with business objectives. * Provide accurate project estimates and timelines to leadership. * Contribute to infrastructure strategy and roadmap development, including planning upgrades and new deployments. * Maintain audit readiness by managing standardization efforts and reporting configuration anomalies. * Oversee hardware/software inventory and asset lifecycle, coordinating with field teams and account managers. * Adhere to production support frameworks to ensure reliability and quick issue resolution. * Engineer scalable support models for endpoints and unified communications, aligned with SLAs. * Continuously expand technical expertise to support evolving business and technology needs. Required Qualifications: * Strong experience building and documenting technical support processes. * Proficient in imaging and troubleshooting Windows and macOS endpoints, including experience with Autopilot or similar provisioning tools. * Knowledge of software packaging and deployment using PowerShell App Deploy Toolkit or comparable tools. * Proven background in engineering endpoint solutions and providing senior-level operational support. * Hands-on experience with MDM/MAM platforms (e.g., Intune, Jamf) across various device types (BYOD and company-issued). * Experience supporting large, distributed enterprise environments (500+ locations). * Proficiency with infrastructure monitoring platforms like SolarWinds . * Scripting capabilities (PowerShell, Ansible) for automation and support tasks.(preferred) * Knowledge of unified communications systems (e.g., Teams, Zoom, Crestron, Polycom). * Experience managing and supporting VDI/DaaS environments (Amazon Workspaces preferred). * Strong understanding of M365 services and security (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Office, OneDrive, Defender, BitLocker, Power BI).
