The Registered Nurse will use the nursing process to assess and manage the medical needs of a patient. They identify other disciplines needed to maximize patients’ progress toward goals. Fill-in for triage nurse as needed., • Be able to provide backup assistance for the Clinical Manager as needed., • Demonstrate clinical assessment skills at the level necessary to meet the job requirements, • Ability to meet requirements of CPR, First Aid and other mandated programs., • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action., • Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to medical care in home health setting., • Proven decision-making and analytical skills., • Ability to organize, prioritize and efficiently carry out duties and assignments., • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team., • Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, and policies and procedures that are necessary for providing quality care., • Ability to interact effectively and in a professional, supportive manner with persons of all backgrounds., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
