Summary Job Description: The Unit Manager is accountable for the physical/emotional safety of the environment always. Additionally, the individual is responsible for supporting the Group Leader/Shift Supervisor in leading the staff/resident teams utilizing the Tuckman/ other model of supervision along with the MYSI standards (Eyes on, Ears on, Heart on). Furthermore, the Unit Manager must ensure the fidelity/implementation of the MYSI approach, compliance with all rules and regulations, policy/procedure set forth by governing bodies (ACS, OCFS, etc.). Moreover, the Unit Manger must collaborate with all service providers, Medical, Social Service, Q256 and all other providers. About the Role The Assistant Director (AD) of the Residential Treatment Center is a leadership position responsible for advanced oversight of residential operations, staff performance, training compliance, and program quality. Reporting directly to the Residential Director, the Assistant Director provides direct supervision to Residence Managers and serves as a designee for the Residential Director as needed. This role ensures consistent implementation of therapeutic practices, regulatory compliance, and operational standards across all assigned programs. They will collaborate with the Behavioral Health Services Administration Team and Behavioral Health Support Workers (BHSWs) in growing and implementing standards and processes. The BHSS will be responsible for email correspondence, maintaining case documentation, and communicating upcoming deadlines to BHSWs in a timely manner. They must be extremely organized and able to perform at a high level of accuracy. The BHSS must maintain appropriate professional relationships with the Behavioral Health Services Administration Team, BHSWs, and families and their Care Teams to ensure optimal care and high-quality services. Job Description Job Title: (Nursing Services) Program:Enhanced Family Foster Care Nurse Case Manager Reports to: Nursing Director Summary Job Description: Reporting to the Nursing Director, the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (RN/LPN) Nurse Case Manager will be accountable for the full patient care cycle while the child is in foster care. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating children and youth’s medical and mental health care and providing children and youth with resources to foster continued good lifetime practices needed for independent living. The NCM encourages good health practices and preventative healthcare with foster parents and children/youth. This includes developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans for children on their caseload. The nurse serves as an advocate and liaison for the children (age range from birth to 21 years old) and ensures the wellbeing of the individual child/youth. This position is a full-time hybrid position and requires 3 days in-office onsite at the Flagship location in Brooklyn, NY. In office hours for this position are 10:00 AM-6:00 PM.
