Job DescriptionSalary: NEGOTIABLE We are looking for a reliable Dispatcher to act as a communication point for emergency and non-emergency calls. You will receive requests, transmit messages and track vehicles. The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in emergency situations. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information. MUST BE WILLING TO WORK TILL 9 OR 10PM. Responsibilities but not limited to • Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information., • Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions., • Receive and dispatch orders for PLUMBING, DRAIN, and SEPTIC TANK SERVICES, • Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance., • Use cell phones or computers to send crews, vehicles or other field units to appropriate locations., • Monitor the route and status of field technicians to coordinate and prioritize their schedule., • Provide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements., • Enter data in the computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information. Develop service routes and maintain contact with technicians throughout the day. * Maintain strong relationships with technicians and customers. * Monitor any sudden service call changes and work with technicians to establish new scheduling for timely arrivals. * Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the changes and needs of customers. * Act as a communication liaison and answer incoming phone calls and texts from technicians on the road. Requirements • Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position, • Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods , SERVICE TITAN, WORD, EXCEL, VERIZON CONNECT, QB, • Fast typing with experience in data entry, • Knowledge of procedures and guideline for emergency situations, • Needs strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate area. Must have the ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations. * Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings, weekends and holidays. * Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. * Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities * Active listener with excellent communication skills * Sound judgement and critical thinking! * High school diploma or equivalent
