Position Overview: A & Associates is seeking a high-performing Senior IT Recruiter / Staffing Manager to support newly awarded government IT staffing contracts requiring immediate execution and sustained delivery. The selected candidate will operate within a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment, managing multiple technical requisitions simultaneously while meeting strict turnaround expectations and performance metrics. The role requires full ownership of the recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, submission, and onboarding of qualified IT professionals across various experience levels and technical disciplines. Success in this position will be driven by the ability to build strong candidate pipelines, respond quickly to evolving contract demands, and consistently deliver high-quality candidates within defined timelines. This position is best suited for a recruiter who thrives under pressure, understands the urgency of contract staffing, and is capable of producing measurable results with minimal oversight while contributing directly to contract performance and revenue generation. What You Will Be Responsible For: • Manage 10 to 20+ active IT requisitions across multiple contracts and clients, • Deliver qualified candidates within 3 to 5 business days for standard roles and expedited timelines for critical needs, • Own full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, submission, interview coordination, and onboarding, • Build and maintain pipelines across infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, development, and technical support roles, • Conduct structured technical pre-screens and coordinate candidate evaluations, • Utilize sourcing platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Dice, and niche technical networks, • Ensure compliance with background checks, documentation, and onboarding requirements, • Coordinate with account managers to prioritize requisitions and meet client expectations, • Maintain candidate engagement to reduce fallout and improve placement retention, • Track recruiting activity, submissions, and placements within ATS systems Performance Environment: • High-volume recruiting environment with continuous requisition flow, • Strict turnaround expectations tied to active government contracts, • Daily activity expectations across sourcing, outreach, and candidate submissions, • Ongoing demand across multiple IT disciplines and experience levels, • Performance measured by fill rate, speed to submit, and placement success, • Rapidly shifting priorities requiring flexibility and responsiveness, • Direct accountability to contract delivery and client satisfaction, • Collaboration with operations, compliance, and leadership teams, • Emphasis on proactive pipeline development and candidate readiness, • Minimal downtime between requisitions due to contract demand Required Experience: • 2 to 5+ years of IT recruiting experience within a staffing or agency environment, • Proven ability to manage high-volume requisitions simultaneously, • Strong understanding of technical roles including systems, network, cloud, cybersecurity, and development, • Experience sourcing passive candidates across multiple platforms, • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools, • Ability to assess technical qualifications and conduct effective screenings, • Strong organizational and time management skills, • Experience working under deadlines and performance expectations, • Strong communication skills with candidates and internal teams, • Ability to manage competing priorities without loss of quality Preferred Background: • Experience supporting government or municipal staffing contracts, • Background in MSP, VMS, or large-scale staffing programs, • Familiarity with compliance-driven hiring environments, • Experience supporting both contract and direct hire placements, • Knowledge of IT certifications and technical skill validation, • Experience working with high-demand or niche technical roles, • Prior experience in performance-driven recruiting environments, • Exposure to workforce planning or staffing strategy, • Ability to support rapid deployment hiring initiatives, • Familiarity with the Phoenix IT labor market is a plus Compensation: Compensation is commensurate with experience and is expected to range between $55,000 and $70,000 annually, with additional performance-based earning potential tied to recruiting output and placements.
