Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Shop Dispatcher & Warranty Administrator to join our Cadillac dealership’s service team. This dual‐role position is essential to keeping our service department running smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. You’ll coordinate workflow for our technicians, manage repair order distribution, and ensure all warranty claims are processed accurately and in compliance with GM guidelines. Key Responsibilities Shop Dispatching • Assign repair orders to technicians based on skill level, availability, and shop capacity, • Monitor workflow throughout the day to maximize productivity and minimize downtime, • Communicate with service advisors and technicians to ensure accurate job status updates, • Track repair progress and adjust scheduling as needed to meet deadlines, • Prepare, submit, and track all GM/Cadillac warranty claims, • Review repair orders for accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance with manufacturer policies, • Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of GM warranty procedures, bulletins, and labor time guides, • Correct and resubmit rejected claims promptly, • Maintain warranty records and ensure proper storage of required documentation, • Previous experience in automotive service operations, dispatching, or warranty administration preferred, • Strong understanding of dealership service processes and repair order flow, • Familiarity with GM/Cadillac warranty systems is a plus, • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments, • Proficiency with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.) is beneficial, • One week of vacation available immediately; two weeks after one year, • Paid training and ongoing professional development
