Job Description Overview Established property management company based in WNY that develops, acquires, invests in, and manages a wide range of multifamily properties is seeking a dynamic Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of mid-size multifamily community. This role is ideal for assistant property manager or experienced property management professional looking to take the next step in their career. This role requires strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a comprehensive understanding of property management practices. What You'll Do: • Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing available units, conducting tours, and processing applications with prospects., • Collect rents, issue notices, renewals, etc., • Maintain effective communication with tenants to address concerns, resolve issues, and enhance resident satisfaction., • Collaborate with maintenance personnel to coordinate repairs and ensure the property upkeep and service requests resolved in timely manner., • Handle leasing activities, including marketing available units, conducting property showings, and processing applications., • Manage the unit turn process to reduce vacancy loss., • maintain property record-keeping, including tenant files and lease agreements., • Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure safety standards are met and identify areas for improvement., • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies related to property management and tenant relations., • Minimum 2 years' experience in property management, leasing, or real estate, plus supervisory experience., • Personable attitude and exceptional communication skills to foster relationships, grow resident satisfaction, and resolve conflict with tenants and vendors., • knowledge of property leasing practices, Fair Housing, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), legal administrative processes and basic accounting/bookkeeping is highly preferred., • Strong computer skills with Microsoft 365, web-based platforms and PM software., • Paid Holidays, • Paid Time Off, • Health, Dental & Vision Insurance, • Life, Accident, Illness Insurance, • 401(k), • 401(k) Matching, • Annual Increase, • Holiday Bonus Glendale Development provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
