Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. A full-time licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within an elementary school setting located in Houston, TX. This contract position spans the current school year, offering a vital role in supporting student communication and language development. Successful candidates must hold an active Texas SLP license and have school-based experience. Key Qualifications: • Active Texas SLP license (required; license verification screenshot), • Proven school-based SLP experience, • Open to VOCO candidates who have passed the technical screening and completed virtual school-based SLP assignments, • No SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates accepted, • Assignment based in Houston, TX (East/Southeast Houston metro area), • Elementary school setting with possible locations at multiple schools within the area, • Full-time commitment, 37.5 hours per week, no part-time positions, • In-person or virtual service delivery; bilingual skills are a plus, • Provide comprehensive speech therapy assessment and intervention services, • Supervise SLPAs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, • Attend referral and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, • Opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment, • Engagement with diverse student populations To be considered, please prepare your resume, active Texas SLP license screenshot, and detailed experience summary.
