Job DescriptionThe Branch Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing all operational and administrative functions for a hospice branch. This role ensures regulatory compliance, drives operational performance, manages financial outcomes, and leads a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, healthcare operations experience, and a deep commitment to patient-centered service. Key Responsibilities • Operational Leadership, • Direct day-to-day branch operations to ensure timely and compliant care delivery., • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and workflows that support operational excellence., • Partner with organizational leadership on strategic initiatives and process improvements., • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation based on census and needs., • Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and local hospice regulations., • Conduct internal audits and readiness checks to support survey preparedness., • Oversee clinical documentation standards and accuracy of medical records., • Serve as the branch liaison for quality and regulatory departments., • Oversee branch financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management., • Monitor key financial indicators such as census trends, staffing utilization, and cost control., • Identify and implement initiatives that improve operational efficiency and profitability., • Review and approve payroll, invoices, and reimbursement requests., • Recruit, onboard, and mentor clinical and administrative staff., • Conduct regular performance reviews, team meetings, and development planning., • Support managers and leads in resolving day-to-day operational challenges., • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and patient-focused care., • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and community partners., • Collaborate with business development teams on outreach and market growth strategies., • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)., • Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in hospice, home health, or a healthcare services environment., • Demonstrated success in operations, compliance, and financial oversight. #HOUWC46 #ZRCompany DescriptionAbout Burnett Specialists Burnett Specialists is a top-ranked, 100% employee-owned recruiting firm with over 50 years of expertise in connecting top talent with exceptional companies.
