Job Description Crew Member Part time and Fulltime At PG1 Restaurants of Jersey Mike’s, we’re not just making subs—we’re building future leaders. Position Summary: Crew members are the heart of the store, delivering outstanding customer service while preparing high-quality subs “Mike’s Way” in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities: · Customer Service: Greet customers with enthusiasm, take orders accurately, answer menu questions, and ensure a memorable experience. · Food Preparation: Slice meats and cheeses (18+), prepare vegetables, make sandwiches to order, and maintain food quality standards. · Cash Handling: Operate POS system, handle transactions, and ensure accuracy at all times. · Store Maintenance: Keep the restaurant clean and organized—prep areas, dining room, and restrooms. · Teamwork: Work with your team to ensure speed of service, especially during lunch and dinner rushes. · Stocking & Restocking: Replenish make-line ingredients, chips, drinks, and assist with deliveries. Shifts Overview: · Morning Shift: Prepare the store for the day, bake fresh bread, slice meats/cheeses, stock, and serve early customers. · Mid-Day/Lunch Rush: Handle high volume, operate make-line & grill, manage register, and provide friendly customer engagement. · Closing Shift: Clean and sanitize store, restock for the next day, handle end-of-day procedures, and assist with late orders. Qualifications: · Friendly, energetic, and team-oriented. · Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to fast-paced work. · Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. · Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. · Must be 18+ to operate slicer.
