Job Description Job Summary The Marketing Coordinator works in collaboration with Tomric leaders and with external marketing service providers to create sales opportunities across all Tomric product and service groups. Supervisory Responsibilities - None Duties and Responsibilities 1. Creates marketing content and/or work with external marketing service providers to create content, 2. Updates marketing content and/or work with external marketing service providers to update content, 3. Plans, organizes and coordinates marketing presentations, activities and events, 4. Collaborates with internal sales, service, and culinary departments to: • Involve them in the development of marketing campaigns, • Notify them of the who, what, when, where, why of upcoming marketing campaigns, and of critical campaign touchpoints that will impact them, • Leverage the value of marketing assets, activities, and events 5. Tracks and analyzes marketing campaign performance and reports trends/patterns/opportunities/concerns to leadership, along with recommendations for more effective marketing impacts, 6. Designs and implements digital marketing strategies to drive prospective sales opportunities to Tomric’s website and sales team members, 7. Mindfully tracks the news and trends of the confectionery and plastic tray packaging industries and reports patterns/opportunities/concerns to leadership, along with recommendations for more effective marketing impacts, 8. Participates in the planning and execution of marketing events, conferences and trade shows. Activities to include but not limited to: • Participates in trade show/trade conference space design, including static and dynamic elements, • ompletes and submit the applications for these events and ensure all payments are made on time, • Determines special services needed for these events (e.g. electrical, plumbing, etc.) and ensure that they are ordered, paid for on time, and confirmed by the venue., • Coordinates the development, ordering, testing, packing, shipping, and set-up of any static and/or dynamic marketing assets/supplies/ devices for the event, • Assists and supports with: set-up of the space, demonstrations, interactive displays, working the event to meet with current and prospective customers, and vendors, manually and electronically gather prospective customer data, then analyze that data to discern and communicate to leadership new opportunities for marketing campaigns that would provide more opportunities for sales team members 9. Manages the back-end of the tomric.com website, to include but not limited to: • Monitors the shopping cart and the web order management process, • Monitors the integrity of the credit card payment process, • Update sthe website by adding new content and removing obsolete content., • Manages the back-end of the Tomric website, responsibilities include but are not limited to:, • Monitors incoming web orders and ensure synchronization to Great Plains (inventory and purchasing system), • Confirms the integrity/legitimacy of these orders to prevent fraudulent charges being processed and fulfillment, • Adds fraudulent IP and email addresses to the Blacklist to prevent website attacks, • Updates the website to reflect current products, prices, sales, and staff members, • Maps contact pages correctly to appropriate team members 10. Performs other duties as assigned. Education • Required - High School Diploma or GED 1. Knowledge and skills to proficiently use this software: • WordPress, • Microsoft Office Suite, • Photoshop and other photo, video, and sound editing tools, • c Toc, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Reddit, Pintrist, Quora, Twitch, Tumblr 2. Able and willing to: create and maintain: a clean and organized work area, organized electronic and hard copy files, organized work-in-process and final work products, pay close attention to details for all work processes and products, manage time effectively and efficiently, manage marketing projects from planning to execution, and evaluation, multi-task—to work on several tasks and priorities at the same time, while maintaining attention to detail, quality, and meeting task deadlines, anticipate problems and opportunities, and then take proactive steps to prevent/mitigate problems and leverage opportunities, gather data to determine the root causes of problems and propose a variety of solutions to address the root causes of problems—and to prevent future problems, work independently and as a member of a team, work irregular hours and extended shifts when needed--including late nights, early mornings, and overnight stays, 3. Excellent written and oral communication skills required to communicate internally and externally with current and prospective customers, service providers—one-on-one, in small groups and via large group presentations, 4. Excellent proofreading and editing knowledge and skills; and the willingness to assertively speak up when something is wrong with marketing assets, 5. Engage with a service orientation towards the sales team members—this position exists to serve them, 6. Engage with a strong and trustworthy work ethic, 7. Knows and utilizes Standard English oral and written communication skills and is able to fluently read and write using Standard English, 8.
