Job Description Summary: The Histotechnician performs a variety of routine and complex histological procedures to prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination by a pathologist or scientist. This position requires a higher level of skill and independence, with responsibilities including advanced staining techniques, troubleshooting, and participation in quality control activities. The Preclinical Principal Scientist will serve as a key scientific contributor, subject matter expert (SME) and Project Manager in the execution of Cresilon’s Preclinical Research Operations, including but not limited to in-vivo study design (Safety and Efficacy/Functionality evaluations), Preclinical Research Management, Vendor Management, and Preclinical Regulatory Strategy. The Guest Ambassador will work an average of 4 days per week. Shifts can range from 4 to 8 hours; Ambassadors usually work 16-32 hours per week on average. Ambassadors MUST have availability Wednesday through Sunday, including the availability to be scheduled some evenings (typically Wednesdays and Thursdays) and Monday holidays. Compensation The Guest Ambassador is compensated at a rate of $18.00/hr. This role will be eligible for overtime for work that exceeds 40 hours per week; however, all overtime must be approved in advance by the role’s supervisor. Schedule The Flex Guest Ambassadors are scheduled to meet the needs of the business. This is a flexible position with no guarantee of set hours. It is possible for a Flex Guest Ambassador to be scheduled 0 - 24 hours based on their base availability. Please keep in mind we make every effort to schedule flex guest ambassadors weekly. However, those hours could be reduced if the business slows down. Shifts can range from 4 - 8 hours. This role must have the availability that is documented at the time of job offer. (Current base availability: Minimum of 2 days a week, must include 1 weekend day, and every After Dark.
